I have done a lot of films to promote different companies, and now I’ve also done a TV commercial. When I started the project for Mariestads Kommune in Sweden in June 2012, the focus was on a 3-4 minute ‘inspirational film’ for the commune, and they had only vague plans of TV appearance. But that was before the politicians decided they wanted to advertise for their commune on TV, to get more people moving there. I had already filmed a lot for the longer film, and after we eventually found the song ‘Allt Grönt’ from the Swedish artist Timbuktu, and was allowed to use it, we finally agreed to the mood of the film.
